Meet Lori, Atish, Stephen, and Dan:
Lori Hoffman-Niles
Lori Niles-Hofmann is a senior learning strategist with over 20 years of L&D experience across many industries, including international banking, management consulting, and marketing.
Her specialization is large-scale digital learning transformations. She is passionate about helping companies navigate through the ambiguity of change and act as a trusted adviser to Fortune 500 CLOs around the world.
After leading and completing numerous EdTech implementations, she has developed the data-based methodologies and frameworks that will empower your L&D teams to move from business support function to strategic business driver. Lori is currently based in Toronto, with one foot in Europe.
Atish Gonsalves
Atish Gonsalves is a social technologist, entrepreneur and the Founder of Gamoteca, a collaborative platform for trainers to easily create and publish micro-learning experiences that use human interaction, mixed reality and game-based activities. Atish also leads research & innovation in education at the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
With a background in software engineering, AI and human-computer interaction, Atish’s experience includes leadership roles at technology and international non-profit organisations, including the United Nations. Atish has implemented successful edtech solutions that have helped democratise learning for thousands of learners in challenging contexts, including for refugee and disaster-hit communities.
Stephen Lake
The Very Revd Stephen Lake has been Dean of Gloucester since 2011. Under Stephen’s leadership, Gloucester Cathedral has grown in capacity, reach and effectiveness and makes a major contribution to the city and region. For seven years Stephen has chaired the Gloucester Regeneration Advisory Board, attracting millions of pounds of investment into the city, and today is participating in the new Gloucester City Centre Commission leading change in the city centre over the next decade.
Stephen is also a Church Commissioner, the Lead Dean for Safeguarding in the Church of England nationally, and serves as a member of the senior group developing the shape of a post-pandemic national church.
For his sins, Stephen has been coached by Humantalk and having survived the experience, knows the value of their unique emphasis on blending professional leadership development with personal mental health and well-being.
Dan Bates
Dan is the CEO and founder of Rebel Energy, a supplier of energy to UK households. Rebel Energy is built around a social mission to provide affordable, clean energy and tackle the rising problem of ‘fuel poverty’.
Dan is driven by a passion to make a difference in society and demonstrate that big business can be good business. This approach applies to both how he builds and manages his company, encouraging the positive mental health and well-being of all who work at Rebel Energy, through to the sector-redefining service offered to customers. Prior to founding Rebel Energy, Dan spent over 15 years at BP in a variety of senior leadership roles.
